Globant appoints Stuart Deignan as UK MD to spearhead nationwide expansion

Globant, a digitally native technology services company, has appointed Stuart Deignan as UK Managing Director to spearhead its nationwide expansion strategy.

Stuart will run and oversee all aspects of Globant’s UK operations, including business development strategy and management of the overall client relationship to boost the business.

With over 20 years of experience in digital, technology and business services, Stuart will work to expand Globant’s UK market presence, providing organisations across the UK with innovative end-to-end IT and software solutions.

Federico Pienovi, General Manager Europe & Asia, commented: “We are delighted to have Stuart on board and to benefit from his experience in organisational change. Stuart will play a key role as we expand our footprint in the UK and in overseeing our studios’ efforts, augmenting our clients’ capabilities and providing them solutions to the most complex business problems.”

Along with Stuart, Vikas Krishan has joined Globant as Managing Director & Head of Clients, for leading strategic business initiatives, identifying innovative and technology convergence needs to scale clients’ business.

Stuart Deignan, MD UK, concluded: “The UK is an important market both domestically and as a gateway to Europe and beyond. In my new role as UK Managing Director, I plan to replicate Globant’s explosive growth across LATAM and EMEA here in the UK.”

Globant’s fast growth rate globally has included the acquisition of financial services management consultancy Bluecap in Europe. Only recently, Globant also acquired CloudShift in the UK, expanding the company’s multi-cloud digital transformation capabilities. A long-standing player in the digital consultancy field, Globant has had its eyes on the UK as an important part of its global expansion and growth plan since it was born, as its first clients came from the UK.
