A strong advocate of construction safety, scheduling predictability, sustainability and quality, Golding is an expert in end-to-end data centre delivery in established and new geographies in EMEA. www.networkseuropemagazine.com MOVERS AND SHAKERS 60 Mayflex Appoints Simon Steer as Director of Sales for Security Steer has extensive experience in the industry having previously worked for Indigo Vision for the last 10 years, where his last position was Sales Director covering the UK and Ireland, and prior to that, he worked for an installer for 8 years in the security industry. Cushing has more than 20 years of experience in HR leadership roles across multiple industry sectors, including software, healthcare, financial services and energy. She joins EXA from General Electric, where she most recently led the human resources function for the GE Digital International business across 60-plus countries. With a broad range of human resources expertise across transformational change leadership, talent development and management, and international employee relations, Cushing will lead the strategic development of talent management and further cultural development for EXA, which has more than 400 employees across Europe and the US. Prior to GE, she worked for Baker Hughes (which at the time was backed by GE) in the UK, where she was responsible for global learning strategy. She started her career at Barclays, working for both domestic and international businesses. After 10 years, Paul Hooper is stepping down from the CEO role but will remain an active member of the Gigamon Board of Directors. They each bring strong customer and partner relationships with them, which they will use to deliver Panasas’ stability, easy manageability and optimised performance to organisations throughout the world.” Vertiv Appoints Vicente Chiralt as Vice President Marketing EMEA Vertiv has announced the appointment of Vicente Chiralt as Vice President of Marketing for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Chiralt has been promoted to this position after four years with the company. He was previously Senior Director of the field and channel marketing teams for the region, leading the successful execution of demand generation, channel development and brand awareness programs. In his new role, Chiralt will lead all marketing teams in the region and will seek to maximise the tangible impact of marketing programs on Vertiv's business by developing strategies and plans focused on customers, value creation and operational excellence. Hershey will leverage more than 25 years of experience in leading and scaling go-to-market and sales teams to help the company build momentum for the NS1 Connect platform. Hershey most recently served as group Vice President, Global Cloud Sales & GTM Transformation at Splunk, where he played a significant role in turning the company’s cloud business into one of its key growth engines, with over a billion dollars in annual recurring revenue. He also held leadership roles at companies like OPNET, acquired by Riverbed Technologies, and CA Technologies. “Andy has deep experience developing winning strategies for companies that enable digital transformation. Proximity Appoints Jignesh Patel as Business Development Director Proximity Data Centres Limited has announced the appointment of Jignesh Patel as Business Development Director.
